This is a vintage 1930's or 40's wood button, measuring 11/16", made by stacking 4 different colors of wood and putting a bead on top. Each layer is carved to look like a flower petal. It reminds me of a flower. Or, one of those stackable toys with rings that babies play with. In good condition. I HAVE 6 OF THESE BUTTONS! $3 each

Dating from the 1930's or 40's and measuring 1 & 1/8" x 7/16" NBS Medium, here we have a realistically shaped bright red Bakelite racquetball racket. In good condition. $9

This impressed and painted black glass button probably dates from the late 1800's and measures 1 & 1/16" NBS Medium. The figure and scene are flat and polished and the background is impressed. The painted (I think it is fired) decorative finish is in very bright colors. The shank is rounded molded and it has thread grooves. In very good condition! $14

Probably dating from the late 1800's, and measuring 1 & 5/16" NBS Large. This is a gilt brass button featuring a pierced pinwheel pattern that is enameled. In very good condition! $15

Probably dating from the late 1800's and measuring a hair under 1 & 1/4" which makes it a NBS medium size. A beautiful pierced gilt brass with champleve' enamel and a painted rose in the center. In great condition with a very light surface scratch on the rose. I think you may be able to see it in the scan. $40

Signed and dated by studio artist, Kay Ferguson, 2001. This pretty pearl button measures 1 & 3/8" NBS Large. It features a scrimshaw drawing filled in and painted with gold, of a sailing ship with oarsmen. There is a moon above that looks like Saturn with a ring around it. It's a hexagon pattern. If you are doing a tray of patterns, this is a nice one! $15

Probably dating to the 1930's or 40's, and measuring 1 & 5/16" x 13/16" NBS Large. This is a chunky dark lustrous green color Bakelite that has been carved to look like a Tiki God. Very neat! The green color is much better in real life. In very good condition! $20

I don't know the age of this beautiful button, but believe it is vintage, or even antique. A fine quality porcelain painted with enamels. Measuring a hair under 3/4" & has an oblong self shank that has an unglazed top and has a small needle hole. It looks to me as though the flowers were painted first and then the blue background. IN GOOD CONDITION w A TINY GLITCH AT THE TOP NEAR THE 1 O'CLOCK POSITION. NOT A CHIP -- I THINK IT IS A MANUFACTURING FLAW. THE BLUE HAS SOME AREAS THAT LOOK A LITTLE DIRTY WHEN LOOKED AT CLOSELY. $15

Probably dating from the mid to late 1800's and measuring 1" NBS Medium, here we have an abalone pearl button with a brass eschutcheon of a lion's head. The abalone has very iridescent purples -- just gorgeous! The brass lion head is very convex and extremely detailed. It has a wide brass plate and heavy brass shank. In good condition. $40
