This is a darling realistic ceramic button that I believe is made of plaster. It's soft enough that I can flake it on the back with my fingernail. It measures 1 & 7/8" x 1" NBS Large. It's a realistically shaped cupid with bow and arrow. It is signed on the back "TY '86." In very good condition! $10

Probably dating from the late 1800's, and measuring 7/8" NBS Medium. this is a concave shaped button featuring a brass 3 dimensional head of a bull dog. The sides are straight and 1/8" wide -- drum like. It has a steel back and wire loop shank. In good condition! The scan of the back is bad. The edge is not that wavy. $15

I hope that the scan shows the iridescence of these colorful buttons. Most of these pretty aurora lustered buttons were made in the 1950's, but there are three newer ones in this group, and one older one. The older one is the white with the box shank. The scan of the back of that one has a couple of lines, but NO cracks. All are small under 3/4" except for 3 of them. In good condition! $14

Probably dating from the late 1800's, and measuring 11/16", this is a molded black glass button with facets on the domed top and a nice lined border. It has an iridescent luster applied that some people refer to as "carnival glass". It has a brass plate and loop shank. It reminds me of a hat, although I don't think that was the maker's intention. In very good condition! $8

Probably dating from the late 1800's, and measuring 11/16", here we have an incised design on black glass of a sitting dragon or other fabulous animal. It is outlined in gold luster and the background is painted a brown color. It has a molded self shank with deep thread grooves. In very good condition. $10

Probably dating from the 1930's or 40's and measuring 1 & 1/16" NBS Medium here we have a pretty transparent golden colored (much like applejuice Bakelite) celluloid I believe. It has pastes that are set in the top in a random fashion. It has a metal loop shank inserted in the back. In very good condition! $8

This cute bee is made up of different woods or colors of woods that have been laminated together and carved in the shape of a bee. It measures a bit over 1 & 1/4" NBS Large wing tip to wing tip. In very good condition. $5

This 1 & 1/2" Large button has many different types & colors of wood that have been laminated together and then cut into the round slightly convex shape. In very good condition. $8

Probably dating from the 1930's or 40's and measuring 7/8" x 5/8" NBS, this is a one piece laminated celluloid button featuring a top layer of GLITTER! It has visible layers of different colored celluloid that were bonded together and then cut to make them visible. In good condition. $5
