Dating from the late 1800's and measuring close to 11/16" NBS small. This is a molded black glass button featuring an eagle who looks as though he's about to pounce on some prey. It has beautiful iridescent luster. In very good condition! $9 The luster doesn't show up in the scan very well.

This oval black glass button has a silvery luster on a moth design. It has a very Art Deco look to it. It is backmarked with a large "C" and a smaller "B" inside it. Also, the number "97." Possibly, from the Czech Republic? It measures 1 & 1/8" x 13/16" NBS Medium. It has a brass plate & loop shank. $10

Probably dating to late 1800's to early 1900's and measuring 7/8" NBS Medium. This is an impressed design fabulous animal on black glass. It has a gray flat painted background and gold luster in the incised lines. It has a small rim chip by the tail, and a couple of flea bites. Not as bad as they look in the picture! Otherwise in good condition! $6

Probably dating from the late 1800's to early 1900's & measuring 11/16", this is a very high relief molded black glass button w gold luster. It features a dog w a stick or bone in his mouth. It's identified in "The Big Book of Buttons," pg 297.16, as "Mastiff Carrying Stick in Mouth," but the button they show is brass not black glass. Same dog. It has a self shank w deep thread grooves. IN VERY NICE CONDITION, WITH NORMAL AGE WEAR TO THE GOLD LUSTER. $10
Dating from the mid - late 1800's & measuring 11/16". This is an interesting button w a molded high relief black glass head & shoulders of a queen with a crown. Her crown & necklace are decorated with gold decorative finish, & her ruffled collar are silver decorative finish (DF). It is sitting on a background that looks as though it could have been a galena finish at one time. It is set in a blackened brass rim, silver liner. The back is lacquered steel with a wire shank. IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. I have 2 of these buttons. The price is for each one. $9 ea.
