This impressed and painted black glass button probably dates from the late 1800's and measures 1 & 1/16" NBS Medium. The figure and scene are flat and polished and the background is impressed. The painted (I think it is fired) decorative finish is in very bright colors. The shank is rounded molded and it has thread grooves. In very good condition! $14

Probably dating from the mid to late 1800's, and measuring 9/16". This black glass button has been molded with the shape of a seashell. It has a small brass plate and loop shank. In good condition for this type button. There is one "rub" area on the front of the button, but hardly noticeable. $7

Probably dating from the late 1800's and measuring 9/16", here we have a molded black glass button featuring the Star of David. It has a molded self shank with deep thread grooves. In very good condition! $6

Probably dating from mid to late 1800's, and measuring 1 & 1/16" NBS Medium, here we have a black glass molded button in the shape of a 5 petal flower. It has silver luster decorative finish. It has a small plate & loop shank. In good condition with some wear to the silver finish and a bit of roughness to the edges. Nothing bad. $10

This button looks like an older button, but the shank is a self shank. We'll call it vintage to be on the safe side. It measures 7/8" x 7/16" NBS Medium, and is molded in the shape of a crescent moon. It's showing some surface wear in the way of scratches, fleabites, and has a nick off the back of one of the tips. But such a neat button! $8

Probably dating from the late 1800's to early 1900's and measuring 1 & 1/8" NBS Medium. This lovely black glass button features an imitation fabric background upon which there is a stylized plant. The border is to imitate beads. In very good condition. There are lines on the back of the button that were created by the mold during manufacturing. No cracks or chips! $8

Dating from the late 1800's, and measuring 11/16" x 9/16" NBS Small, this is a black glass button that is oval in shape. The flat top is covered with bright yellow, blue and red overlay along with a sprinkling of goldstone. It has a molded self shank that has deep thread grooves. In very good condition! $8

A very unusual button! It is convex shaped black glass measuring 1 & 9/16" NBS Large. The center is brass. There are concentric circles of alternating black glass and (I believe) brown enameled black glass. I haven't seen another button like this. The back of the button is entirely black glass except for the brass shank. $10

Probably dating from the mid to late 1900's, and measuring 7/8" NBS Medium, this is a molded black glass button featuring a scroll pattern. The scrolls and border have gold luster decorative finish. In good condition with normal light wear to the gold luster. The back of the button has lines from the mold. No cracks. $4

Probably dating to early 1900's and measuring 7/8" here we have a really nice imitation fabric black glass button. It features a 6 petaled lavendar colored flower. It has a 4-way box shank. In very good condition except for light wear on the gold luster that loops through the design. $8
