Probably dating from the early 1900's and measuring 15/16" NBS Medium, here we have a concave shape vegetable ivory button. It features a metal escutcheon of berries hanging from a branch. In good condition. $9
A set of 8 antique vegetable ivory buttons featuring fabric centers. Seven of them measure 13/16", and one measures 11/16". Vegetable Ivory is the tagua nut that was used for buttons and called "ivory" because it carved much like ivory. All of these buttons have pad backs for sewing to the garment. In very good condition. $10
