I don't know the age of this beautiful button, but believe it is vintage, or even antique. A fine quality porcelain painted with enamels. Measuring a hair under 3/4" it has an oblong self shank that has an unglazed top and has a small needle hole. It looks to me as though the flowers were painted first and then the blue background. IN GOOD CONDITION w A TINY GLITCH AT THE TOP NEAR THE 1 O'CLOCK POSITION. NOT A CHIP -- I THINK IT IS A MANUFACTURING FLAW. THE BLUE HAS SOME AREAS THAT LOOK A LITTLE DIRTY WHEN LOOKED AT CLOSELY. $12
